Running Around Again

Two months ago my schedule completely cleared. Dentist and doctor appointments were canceled. Kids activities – canceled, sports – canceled, church – canceled, Zumba – canceled. Work consisted of about an hour and a half a day instead of all day. I got to spend a lot of time at home with my kids and it was glorious! Then things started opening up again. First it was orthodontic appointments. Next came dance classes for my little girls. Now I have an eye exam scheduled for me. I need to schedule well child checks for a couple of kids, dentist appointments for a few more of us, and I’m hoping for a few more get togethers. I’m glad we can get out, but at the same time I’m mourning the fact that for a couple of months I didn’t have to go anywhere, I could slow down with my kids, and we could just be.
