Stuff about me
As a girl I knew I wanted to be a mom and a teacher. I didn’t know then that a mom’s job is pretty much to be a teacher. I started out wanting 4 kids, then I 7, and I ended with 8. I have 6 girls and 2 boys. I love to do all kinds of crafts, I love cooking. I love reading, music, writing, and I love being with my family. My husband grew up on a dairy farm and he brought his family back to the country. I did not grow up on a farm and even though I’m from a small town I was still “city” rather than a country girl. I’m learning, though and there’s no place else I’d rather raise my kids. My favorite book is The Secret Garden. I don’t like sweating unless it’s doing something fun, like dancing. I’m a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I believe in God. I strongly support strengthening families. I am not a great housekeeper and I’d rather garden than do the dishes. Daffodils are my favorite flower. I love mexcian food, but hate seafood. Spring is my favorite season and my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving.
